CRE Co-Sponsors Domain Workshop

Domain Workshop in Spencer hall

On March 31-April 2, CRE co-sponsored "Finding Common Ground: Ecological Pluralism on the Domain," an interdisciplinary workshop focused on our relationship with Sewanee's 13,000-acre Domain.

The workshop was sponsored by CRE, the Office of Environmental Stewardship and Sustainability, the Collaborative for Southern Appalachian Studies, and the School of Theology, and facilitated by Ward Cammack. Over 3 days, participants discussed the value of the Domain and ways to utilize its extensive resources more fully.

The workshop also included "Backyard" a multimedia art exhibition featuring works by students in Professor Pradip Malde's classes and photography by Domain Ranger Sandy Gilliam.
