The Farm House, sponsored by The University Farm, recently hosted the first Farm to Table workshop of the school year. Pickling is a process of preserving food by anaerobic fermentation, dating back 4000 years in India. At our workshop, we used a simple vinegar brine with salt, garlic and pickling spices to pickle freshly harvested okra from the University Farm.
