- 2nd, 4th, and 6th year reviews
- Faculty hiring (liaison to Appointments Committee)
- Issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Coordinate with the leaders of the various environmental groups in the college
- Provide vision and leadership for environmental activities in the college
- Oversee the communication about what is happening in the college and university about the environment
- Coordinate activities with the Office of Environmental Stewardship and Sustainability
- Study away advising
- General questions about the Office of Global Education
- Support for international students and scholars, including visas
- Management and support for study away programs
- Grant making in support of international programs
- Strategic planning for globalization
- Perform and manage multiple priorities and provide administrative support for the Dean of the College
- Communicate and coordinate the employment hiring process and assist in coordination of campus matters for college faculty
- Enter and maintain college faculty data in Banner/SCT Human Resources module
- Monitor expenditures and adjust the primary Dean of the College budgets
- Immigration processes and issues for international faculty, staff, and visitors
- Legal support for the Office of Global Education (study abroad, foreign students, and travel and study visas)
- Immigration legal support for other University departments, for faculty, and for non-F1, non-citizen students
- Chief international student advisor
- Serve as the PDSO and RO at the University
- Manage immigration processes and paperwork (SEVIS) for F-1 students and J-1 students and scholars
- Organize and implement new international student orientation
- Advise F-1 and J-1 students on non-academic matters, such as insurance, taxes, and other occulteration matters
- Advise the Organization for Cross-Cultural Understanding (OCCU)
- Coordination of new faculty and selected staff searches from start to finish
- Management and monitoring of divisional and departmental operating and restricted budgets
- Preparation of accounting records related to faculty conference travel and research grants
- Webmaster and HR Liaison for the Dean of the College
- Implementation / training of PeopleAdmin (hiring software)
- Provide administrative support for the Associate Dean of the College for Undergraduate Academic Affairs in academic matters and student departures and reinstatements
- Provide support to the student-led Honor Council
- Provide administrative support for the Associate Dean of the College for Faculty Development and Inclusion
- Coordinate one-on-one appointments between students and Dean Scott Wilson
- Schedule Study Abroad interest meetings
- Schedule visits for representatives from various study abroad programs
- Assist students in the application process for study abroad
- Facilitate leaves of absence for those students who are studying away
