New Faculty Programming

New Faculty Development Sessions

The Center for Teaching works closely with Elizabeth Skomp, Associate Dean for Inclusion and Faculty Development, to provide orientation and year-long programming for our new faculty.  Unless otherwise noted, all sessions will take place from 3-5 pm. This year’s schedule is as follows:

September 8, 2017 

  • Introduction to general education and assessment
  • Course design / proposing new courses (with a representative from CAPC)

November 17, 2017

  • Syllabi workshop

December 14, 2017 (12:00-2:00 pm session with lunch provided)
