Sewanee Students Using Russian in their Careers

Sarah Lillibridge, a Sewanee grad who majored in Russian, will be in Sewanee over Presidents' Day weekend. This Friday 2/16 at 2:00 she will meet with our students and talk about study abroad, her Fulbright year, and her work with the National Endowment for Democracy (including her work monitoring the social media feeds of various notorious characters). There will be a conversation over tea and snacks to begin at 2 p.m. in Gailor 224.

On Saturday 2/17, a current student, Summer Menefee, will also have a morning conversation at 10:00am in Gailor 224 about her ongoing internship at the State Department, her meetings with Russian, Chinese, and Taiwanese diplomats, the challenges of going to diplomatic parties, etc. and why more Sewanee students should consider internships with the State Department!
