Men's Tennis Latest News5-6-2008 Boyd Named SCAC All-Tournament SUWANEE, Ga. – Charlie Boyd, a junior from Nashville, has been named to the SCAC All-Tournament team for his play at #1 singles, according to Dwayne Hanberry of the SCAC. Boyd was 3-0 in singles play at the tourney.
The former Montgomery Bell Academy standout picked up wins at the tournament over #1 players from Millsaps, DePauw, and Rhodes. He also picked up a doubles win with Henry Litchfield against Rhodes. Boyd’s singles record this year stands at 13-8 for the year and he has won his last seven singles contests.
