University Music Groups to Perform at Trails and Trilliums

The University Music Department will be well represented at the 11th annual Trails and Trilliums sponsored by the Friends of South Cumberland. It will take place at the Monteagle Assembly Friday night and Saturday, April 11 & 12, 2014. Visiting Instructor of Music Lucas Finney, will entertain the crowd on Friday evening at 7:20pm with his guitar music during the Art for the Park Preview Party. All day Saturday various groups featuring University faculty, students and community members will play at the Bandstand. Their schedule is: 9:30 AM Sewanee Guitar Students 10:15 AM Sewanee Jazz Band 2:15 PM Sewanee Folk Music Collective Saturday evening at 4:45pm, Visiting Assistant Professor of Music Jim Carlson and his wife Lucie, who make up the group Cricket and Snail, will play for the Wine and Wildflowers event at the Assembly Auditorium.
