University Choir to tour England

Twenty-three members of the University Choir and several choir alums will embark Friday, May 22, on a nine-day tour of England. The Choir will be in residence at Peterborough Cathedral, May 23 and 24, singing Choral Evensong on Saturday and the services of Choral Matins, Holy Communion and Choral Evensong on May 24, Pentecost Sunday. The Choir will then travel to Norwich, where they will be in residence May 25-29, singing Choral Evensong daily at Norwich Cathedral. This year’s tour will be the 12th since 1979 led by Robert Delcamp, professor of music and university organist. During those tours the choir has sung or been in residence at 23 different cathedrals and abbey churches.
