Emmanuel Asiedu-Acquah received his PhD in History from Harvard. He works on modern West Africa with a particular interest in youth culture and popular politics, students and nationalism, and mass media and postcolonial development in Ghana and the broader West African region. His teaching interests include globalization, early and modern Africa, West Africa, and 19th- and 20th-century international politics.
