Religion Major to Pre-Nursing Student
Anne Gray Thornburg, C'17 decided to become a nurse the summer before her senior year. As a religion major with no biology classes under her belt other than Field Investigations, she had her work cut out for her. With careful planning with the Office of Medical and Health Programs, summer school, and an independent study with Dr. Summers, Anne Gray is on her way to entering the world of nursing.

Carter Center Internships in Uganda
Henry Pipes, C'17 and Amy Lee, C'16 interned at The Carter Center in Uganda. They analyzed data detailing the incidence of river blindness and traveled throughout Uganda to collect data and improve health education.
Rural Medical Internship
Emily Shriner, C'18 and Kendall Wills, C'19 describe their summer internships with Drs. Pam and Paul Evans. They reflect on their experience, which included hands-on patient care at the Evans' clinic, rounds at Baptist Memorial Hospital, and even some goats!

Medical Board Games Night
