Peter Schweppe received his B.A. in German and History from the University of Montana and his Ph.D. in Languages, Literatures and Cultures from McGill University. His research interests include cinema, book studies, social movements, visual culture, and material history. Dr. Schweppe recently completed his dissertation, “Out of Line: Print and Materiality in the West German Protest Movement,” which assesses the interplay between literature and protest in the late 1960s.
