Dr. Jacqueline DiBiasie's research with the Herculaneum Graffiti Project (HGP) has been published in the field report of their first season: "The Herculaneum Graffiti Project: Initial Field Season, 2014" in the Journal of the Fasti Online. In this article, DiBiasie and other members of the HGP team discuss the results of the first season, methodology used in this archaeological project, and plans for future work.

Notable in this field report is the application of Reflectance Transformation Imaging (RTI) to Herculaneum's Graffiti. A modern imaging techinque, DiBiase's report on RTI provides a unique, ground-level perspective of both Herculaneum and a new technology which is the "digital frontier for capturing, preserving, and disseminating inscriptions from the ancient world."
